treeThuja is a genus of evergreen coniferous trees in the Cupressaceae (cypress) family, commonly known as arborvitae or 'tree of life'. The trees grow from 10 to 200 feet (3 to 61 metres) tall with stringy-textured reddish-brown bark, flat shoots, and scale-like leaves arranged in flattened fan-shaped groupings.
Tolerates a range of soil types including light (sandy), medium, and heavy (clay) soils
