Melothria scabra, commonly known as cucamelon or Mexican miniature watermelon, is a fast-growing vine in the Cucurbitaceae family native to Mexico and Central America. The plant produces hundreds of small, grape-sized fruits with a cucumber flavor and slight sourness, and typically grows 2.5–3 meters tall with a climbing habit.
