Cortaderia selloana
Pampas grass is a large ornamental grass in the Poaceae family originating from South America. It forms a large, dense, grassy mound of 6–10 feet tall and wide, with long, slender, weeping blades that can easily exceed one meter in length. The most striking feature is the tall silvery-white, feather-like plumes that emerge in late summer and fall, making it an excellent accent plant for gardens and dried flower arrangements.
