Persian Cyclamen is a flowering herbaceous perennial that grows from a tuber, with a mounded growth habit reaching 15-23 cm tall. The plant features heart-shaped, dark green leaves with marbled silvered patterns and produces delicate butterfly-like flowers in white, pink, red, magenta, or lavender that bloom from early winter to spring. The flowers are sweetly scented and pollinated by bees, though the dark brown tuberous root is poisonous.
Water: Medium · Height: 20 cm · Soil: Rich, well-drained soil preferred. Water at the base or edge of pot, avoiding the crown to prevent tuber rot.
