shrubVeronica is an evergreen shrub native to New Zealand and South America that grows to approximately 4.5 m tall and 3 m wide. It produces flowers from June to August and is pollinated by bees, making it valuable for pollinators.
Prefers well-drained, light sandy or loamy soil. Tolerates mildly acid, neutral, and basic soils including very alkaline soils. Succeeds in most soils if not boggy or too dry. Intolerant of drought.
Also a perennial — same seasonal rhythm as Veronica
