Vinca minor
Vinca minor is a trailing subshrub native to central and southern Europe, spreading along the ground and rooting along the stems to form large clonal colonies. It reaches 15–40 cm in height and produces violet-purple flowers (sometimes pale purple or white in cultivars) with a five-lobed corolla, blooming mainly from early spring through midsummer with occasional flowers into autumn.
