Psophocarpus tetragonolobus, commonly known as winged bean, is a tropical herbaceous legume that grows as a climbing vine with stems reaching 3–4 m (10–13 ft) in height. All parts of the plant are edible: leaves can be eaten like spinach, flowers used in salads, tubers eaten raw or cooked, and seeds used similarly to soybeans.
