Aruncus dioicus is a herbaceous perennial flowering plant in the Rosaceae family, native to Europe, Asia, and North America. It grows 1.2 to 1.8 metres tall with alternate, pinnately compound leaves and produces showy plumes of small white or cream flowers in late spring to early summer, with male and female flowers borne on separate plants.
