flowerHeuchera is a genus of largely evergreen perennial plants in the family Saxifragaceae, native to North America (except H. sichotensis from the Russian Far East). The plants are characterized by palmately lobed leaves on long petioles and a thick, woody rootstock, with small flowers in shades of red, pink, or white that bloom in early summer to late spring.
Prefers well-drained soil. Suitable for light (sandy) and medium (loamy) soils. Prefers mildly acid, neutral, and basic (mildly alkaline) soils.
A fellow Saxifragaceae — similar growing habits to Coral Bells
