Lunaria annua L.
Lunaria annua is a biennial flowering plant in the Brassicaceae family, growing up to 90 cm tall. It produces terminal racemes of white, pink, or violet flowers in spring and summer, followed by distinctive flat, papery, disc-shaped siliques that are highly valued for dried floral arrangements. The mature seed pods develop a silvery central membrane that is translucent and ornamental.
