Star jasmine is an evergreen woody vine native to eastern and southeastern Asia. It produces abundant, highly fragrant white flowers in late spring and sporadically through summer, with glossy dark green leaves that turn bronze in winter. Once established, it is drought-tolerant and can grow up to 20 feet tall with proper support, though it is commonly grown as a groundcover, houseplant, or in containers.
