herbAjuga is a genus of flowering plants in the mint family (Lamiaceae) comprising over 60 species of annual or perennial herbaceous plants. Native to Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia, they typically grow 5–50 cm tall with opposite leaves and are commonly used as ground cover.
Prefers well-drained, humus-rich soil. Suitable for light sandy, medium loamy, and heavy clay soils. Tolerates mildly acid, neutral, and basic (mildly alkaline) soils.
