flowerDrought-tolerant Mediterranean perennial. Demands sharp drainage and full sun; hates wet winters. Prune lightly after flowering to a few cm above woody base — never cut into old wood. Hardiest of the lavenders.
Well-draining, sandy or gravelly soil preferred. Low to moderate fertility. pH 6.0-8.0. Tolerates poor soil; avoid wet, heavy clay.
