flowerCommon Honeysuckle (Lonicera periclymenum) is a vigorous deciduous twining climber native to much of Europe, North Africa, Turkey and the Caucasus. Growing to 7 m (23 ft) or more in height, it produces highly scented tubular, two-lipped flowers that are creamy white or yellowish, often flushed with pink or red, arranged in showy clusters at the shoot ends. The flowers are highly scented by night and develop into bright red berries that attract wildlife.
