shrubFernleaf Lavender is an evergreen shrub native to the Mediterranean region, including southern Portugal, southern Italy, North Africa, and the Canary Islands. It grows to approximately 50 cm (1 ft 8 in) tall with fernlike, double pinnate silver-green leaves and dark blue or violet flowers borne on long stems; the foliage is aromatic with a scent closer to oregano than other lavenders.
Well-drained, sandy, or rocky soils; prefers light (sandy) and medium (loamy) soils; can grow in nutritionally poor soil and very alkaline soils
