Attract Hoverflies, Lacewings, Ladybirds, Parasitic wasps to keep them in check — plant African Marigold, Angelica and Anise nearby.
Well-draining loam or sandy loam soil. pH 6.0-7.5. Moderate fertility; avoid excessive nitrogen. Good drainage prevents root rot.
